Description As a senior backend engineer at Wordly, you will use your expertise to architect and/or implement various software solutions across Wordly’s technology stack. Not only will you help maintain existing software, but you will also have an active role in developing new features that will be actively used by Wordly’s end-users to fulfill their real-time translation needs. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and delivering software engineering solutions from set product requirements. 2+ years of experience in leading software development work in some capacity. Experience working with dependency injection frameworks such as Micronaut, Spring Boot, etc. Experience using the Git version control system. A deep understanding of the Java and/or Kotlin programming languages. Comfortable working with a fully remote team. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. About You We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-curious Technology Intern to support the development and evolution of DEFENDER™, our in-house security management platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on projects related to web app development, internal tooling, platform documentation, and technology strategy execution. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in product development, systems design, and operational tech—while being mentored directly by a senior technology leader.
