Ansible Engineer – RHEL

Job Description

Design, develop, and deploy Ansible playbooks and roles to automate RHEL system configurations and operational tasks.

Collaborate with system administrators and engineering teams to streamline provisioning, patching, and ongoing system maintenance.

Troubleshoot and optimize Ansible workflows to improve performance and reliability.

Support patch management, configuration updates, and deployment operations in RHEL environments.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of all automation scripts, configurations, and processes.

Participate in off-hours support (night/weekend) as required for critical deployments or incident response.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience using Ansible to manage and automate RHEL-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of RHEL system administration and Linux internals.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent certification.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
• Exposure to cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, OpenStack).
