DevOps Engineer

Job Description

The role will support the Legacy Replacement Project by working with a team to handle deployments using CI/CD tools, manage environments, and implement Copado deployment processes. The specialist will:

• Lead the transition from change set-driven deployment to Copado
• Build a streamlined release strategy
• Onboard and train developers and users on Copado
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and manage the end-to-end release process
• Oversee production deployments and ensure metadata changes are deployed smoothly
• Develop a strategy for keeping environments in sync across development initiatives

A background in production support, particularly related to change and incident management, is a plus.

Mandatory Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience/certifications)
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Full end-to-end Copado implementation experience, including Compliance Hub and Data Deploy
• Experience upgrading from change set-driven deployment to Copado
• Salesforce production deployments in an Agile environment
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools: Copado, GitHub Enterprise, Git, ANT, Jenkins
• Experience managing Salesforce metadata through version control
• Sandbox and environment management expertise
• Experience handling DevOps processes across multiple business units
