Company Description

At Spotbrands, we’re redefining the world of prescription skincare. Through AI-driven personalization, fast telemedicine, and seamless digital experiences, we’re setting a new standard for modern beauty. If you’re passionate about clean code, responsive designs, and creating experiences that delight, you’ll thrive here.

Job Description

What You’ll Own:

  • Design-to-Code Conversion – Transform Figma designs into production-ready Vue (or framework-agnostic HTML) with meticulous attention to pixel-perfect detail, ensuring compatibility across modern browsers and devices.
  • Component Library & Design Tokens – Develop reusable, accessible components and create a robust design system that allows our design and engineering teams to work in perfect harmony.
  • Cross-Device QA & Accessibility – Implement WCAG 2.1 AA standards, prioritize keyboard navigation, and optimize for high-contrasit modes to ensure all our patients enjoy a seamless, inclusive experience.
  • Collaboration & Feedback Loops – Partner with product designers, refine designs, suggest interactive enhancements, and flag technical limitations early in the process.
  • Continuous Improvement – Keep a keen eye on performance metrics like Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals, continually refining our site’s speed without compromising code clarity.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years crafting consumer-focused UIs with HTML, semantic JSX/TSX, or Vue SFCs.
  • Portfolio or live URLs required—show us what you’ve built!
  • Expertise in Figma—component nesting, variants, auto-layout, constraints, and Dev Mode inspection.
  • Mastery of Tailwind CSS, from custom configurations to efficient tree-shaking.
  • Strong foundation in vanilla JS and TypeScript; Vue 3 Composition API or another reactive framework experience is a bonus.
  • Proven ability to create responsive, accessible, and cross-browser layouts that deliver smooth performance across devices.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with component documentation tools like Storybook or Histoire.
  • Familiarity with Builder.io Visual Copilot or similar AI-assisted Figma-to-code tools.
  • A keen eye for micro-interactions and an appreciation for the details that make a user interface feel polished.

What Success Looks Like After 6 Months:

  • Every branded page maintains strong Lighthouse scores in performance, accessibility, and best practices.
  • Our design system and component library are the backbone for 90%+ of screens, reducing Figma-to-code cycle time significantly.
  • Cross-device QA processes and accessibility checks are fully automated and integrated into the CI pipeline.

Compensation & Location:

  • Contract-to-hire with competitive compensation based on experience and fit.
  • Fully remote; target 3+ hours overlap with AST (UTC-4) for micro-syncs.
