Job Description

(Required) You have at least 2 years of experience in software development, working collaboratively as part of a professional engineering team. (Required) You've spent at least 2 years writing code in a professional setting using Python, Java, or JavaScript.You’re a highly motivated engineer who’s excited to contribute to the success of EverTrue’s Product Engineering team.You thrive in collaborative environments where you can create, innovate, and implement technical solutions alongside our platform team, using Agile methodologies.You’re familiar with Java, JavaScript, or Python, and eager to deepen your expertise in these languages.You enjoy learning and working with new technologies, and you’re always looking for ways to grow your skills.You have strong analytical thinking and enjoy solving complex technical problems with creative, practical solutions.You embody our core values—action-oriented, kindly candid, and humbly confident—while always keeping the customer experience top of mind.As an added bonus, you are excited about the Education/Non-Profit Sector and/or have experience with Advancement or Fundraising.

What You'll Do

• Write clean, reliable code as part of a collaborative development team.
• Help design and build scalable APIs, learning and applying best practices along the way.
• Work closely with designers and engineers to implement user-friendly, accessible features.
• Participate in code reviews to both give and receive feedback, supporting continuous learning and quality.
• Contribute to solving technical challenges by bringing curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.
• Help build and maintain systems that are reliable, performant, and ready to scale.
