Required Skills:

• Kubernetes orchestration and deployment expertise
• Istio service mesh configuration and management
• Go programming language proficiency
• Lua scripting experience

Responsibilities

• Enhance and optimize our API gateway infrastructure
• Implement service mesh improvements using Istio
• Develop custom plugins in Go and Lua
• Configure and troubleshoot Envoy proxy deployments
• Collaborate with the API platform team on infrastructure improvements

Ideal Candidate

Has hands-on experience with service mesh architectures and API gateway implementations in containerized environments. Must have demonstrable experience delivering production-grade features written in Go and Lua, including the full lifecycle from development to deployment. Should be able to show examples of custom API gateway plugins, Envoy filters, or service mesh extensions they've implemented that have been successfully running in production environments.
