About This Opportunity

Are you an experienced Project or Product Manager looking to expand your skill set into Product Management? Our organization is seeking a talented professional to fill a hybrid role that leverages your project execution expertise while providing growth opportunities in product strategy and development.

You will work as part of a startup within a larger company focused on the expansion of an innovative platform for Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and other spending accounts administration. Our goal is to reimagine how healthcare is paid to vastly improve the overall user experience, making it easier for the people that need it the most. This role is ideal for project management professionals who want to develop product management skills or early career product managers looking to leverage your experience in the healthcare and fintech fields. You'll apply your proven project management expertise to drive critical initiatives while receiving mentorship and hands-on experience in product strategy, road mapping, and implementation.

Responsibilities

How You'll Leverage Your Project Management Skills

• Lead implementation of regulatory compliance projects affecting HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, and other spending accounts
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with clearly defined scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, compliance, and client services
• Track and report project status to executive leadership and stakeholders

How You'll Grow Your Product Management Skills

• Work alongside senior product managers to learn the product lifecycle and decision-making processes
• Learn to translate business requirements into product specifications
• Develop skills in competitive analysis and market opportunity assessment
• Gain expertise in compliance regulations and their impact on product development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of project or product management experience in a complex environment
• Demonstrated success managing technology implementation projects
• Strong technical understanding and attention to technical detail
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in an Agile software environment
• A self-starter who works well both independently and collaboratively as a team player
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification
• Experience with compliance-driven projects or regulated industries preferred
• Experience with Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts or other regulated spaces like banking and finance preferred
