Kith’s Mobile App Specialist – Job Description
Status: Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000-$90,000
Position Summary: Kith’s Mobile App Specialist is responsible for the success of the Kith Mobile App and fostering its Loyalty Program. This individual will use a content management system to schedule and post new content into the app daily, ensuring it aligns with marketing rollout and business needs. This person will work cross-functionally with various teams on footwear drawing operations, weekly launches, and push notification deployment. By conducting thorough analysis, reviewing segment and performance data, this person will help develop app enhancements and features that establish best-in-class strategies, which will attract new downloads and engage existing customers.
Additionally, this role is also responsible for Kith Europe’s in-app experience, as well as new regions, like Canada.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitoring Kith’s release calendar and entering Kith App programming to ensure readiness for the Kith App across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partnering with the systems team and footwear buyers to schedule Drawings for the US, and coordinating with regional counterparts in EU and Canada for drawing management.
- Coordinating Discover blocks with a Web Designer that highlight appropriate Kith, Footwear and Multi-Brand moments, that are segmented to the most relevant audience.
- Daily Discover Feed refreshes which may include agile content creation and or reconfiguration of feed;
- Ensure all content is up to date with the latest copy and visual standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Multibrand Buyers, Footwear, Treats, Partnerships and Kith Brands to achieve to drive. consideration and awareness on the Kith App, in accordance with the Marketing Strategy Calendar.
- Managing the visual approval process for App with Kith’s VP of Visuals.
- Partnering with regional marketing teams on push notification strategy that drives revenue and maintains subscribership.
- Partnering with the systems team on the creation and distribution of Icons, Early Access promotions and Exclusive Content.
- Working with the Data team to create relevant reports and dashboards to ensure that defined KPIs are monitored and maintained.
- Aligning strategy with the Web Marketing team (Senior Marketing Strategist, Web Copywriter, Digital Designer) so that messaging and delivery strategy are consistent and appropriate for the channel.
- Being responsive to app related business development opportunities with the Brand Partnership team.
- Partnering with the systems team to track bugs and prioritize development based on budgets and business needs.
- Facilitating app development activities with Kith’s App Development Partner and Kith’s Back Office Development Partner.
- Keeping up with trends, competition, and innovation.
- Stay on top of mobile industry trends, technology developments, and emerging business models relevant to KITH’s future.
- Continually benchmark KITH against competitors.
- Weekly analytical reporting to ensure the app is performing best it can and creating learnings for future actions.
- Partnering with the systems team to manage app builds and updates
Special Projects/Tasks
- Will work on all Kith releases, overseeing our 3rd party retail brands and footwear.
- Opportunity to work with partners to ensure cohesive digital alignment
- Periodic management of event activations that require app involvement
Experience
- 5+ years digital product development experience in eCommerce in the apparel industry
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail

- Strong knowledge and experience using digital platforms, including Klayvio, Figma and Notion or similar platforms
