Job Description

In our Diagnostics division and within the R&D group, the Software Engineer plays a critical role in our V&V (Verification and Validation) team. This position ensures that our groundbreaking medical products meet industry standards and specifications, enabling safe and accurate diagnosis and thereby significantly impacting patients' lives!

Responsibilities

• Develop Automation Software integral for comprehensive testing of medical device systems
• Define and execute projects independently, and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems
• Software requirements and specification definition
• Software design and development
• Enhance existing code through refactoring
• Root cause analysis and defect resolution

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2 - 6 years of experience related to systems engineering and/or software development in testing
• Windows .NET as a development environment
• Knowledge of multithreaded UI development required

This is a fully onsite role in San Diego, CA.

Compensation

The annualized base salary range for this role is $89,100 to $139,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
