Build Engineer – SAP CAP M Developer

Duration: 3+ Months Mode: Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using SAP CAP M, Node.js, and CDS
• Build secure and scalable backend services integrated with SAP UI5/Fiori and external systems
• Define and expose oData services, leveraging SAP HANA and external APIs
• Support the migration of applications into SAP Build Work Zone
• Implement workflows and automation with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA)
• Create technical documentation, unit tests, and user support material
• Collaborate in Agile sprints with cross-functional and technical teams
• Ensure compliance with SAP BTP security models, including XSUAA and OAuth2
• Participate in post-deployment support and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP application development experience
• 1+ year working specifically with SAP CAP M
• Proficiency in Node.js, oData, CDS, and REST APIs
• Experience with SAP BTP (subscriptions, entitlements, services, and deployments)
• Strong knowledge of SAP UI5/Fiori and backend service integration
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of RBAC, XSUAA, and SAP BTP authentication mechanisms
• Agile and DevOps delivery experience

Must Have

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and CAP M
• Proficiency with SAP Build Work Zone
• SAP Fiori and oData integration experience
