Salary $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement performance and load tests across Java/Spring-based microservices
  • Analyze system behavior under stress and recommend optimizations
  • Simulate and test Kafka-based workflows, ensuring robust handling of high-throughput message streams
  • Partner with dev and DevOps teams to improve observability and performance baselining
  • Leverage Redis for performance validation of real-time caching layers
  • Build automation tools and dashboards to continuously monitor system health and test results

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in Performance, Load, and Scalability Testing
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka (expert-level) in production-grade systems
  • Deep understanding of Java/Spring-based architectures
  • Experience testing systems that act as both producers and consumers of APIs
  • Familiarity with Redis or similar in-memory datastores
  • Experience working in high-scale environments (FinTech, AdTech, Gaming, or similar a plus)
  • Passion for performance optimization and system resilience
