The Intern will support the Life Science Group’s ongoing leadership in the field of ddPCR by aiding in the development of internal pipelines, data integration, and development of custom applications for the R&D team. As a valued member of this team you will contribute to developing software tools to accelerate our High Throughput Screening platforms and ease the burden of data management and analysis by exploring the mechanisms of data hand-offs from generation to storage and analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineers, bioinformatics specialists, marketing professionals, and other stakeholders to deliver applications and products that enhance and support our customers' needs.
Working under the supervision of experienced software and data science engineers design, implement, and validate custom code for core team needs. Document your work effectively and maintain high standards of data fidelity, security, and storage. Utilize best practices and data driven approaches to make effective decisions relating to code design and execution. Effectively communicate data, findings, and code to the internal team as well as appropriate general audiences.

The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
