Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a Sr. Data Center Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our customers’ data center needs with innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for data center applications, including air and liquid cooling systems.
• Conduct thermal analysis and modeling to optimize system performance.
• Select and evaluate components, ensuring compatibility and adherence to industry standards.
• Create detailed technical drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and manufacturing.
• Provide technical support to customers, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in data center thermal management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center thermal management or industrial refrigeration.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency in thermal analysis software (e.g., Trane TRACE, CoolSIM).
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
